Loving Too Much Always Kills You!

Don't overly loving your parner! Keep some big portion for your own life purposes.

Excessive love can make you a loser!

Yes, engaged with love in a wrong way, out of the limit that should be given, would oftentimes be damaging!

I show you a short case; There's a divorcee, a mom with one daughter who’s falling in love with a young man who looks so sweet and kind. She seems to have so much love for the guy, grants whatever he asks, including letting him stays at her house.

Until one day, her teen daughter told her that he kept looking at her lasciviously which has made her uncomfortable.

The mom, instead of investigating further, she unheed her daughter’s complaint and accused that the girl was fabricating the situation.

Then, a month later when evidently the girl admitted that she has been sexually humiliated, being groped and kissed while alone at home, surprisingly she didn’t believe her daughter’s confession and pointing out if she still want to be with her or not. The girl chose to leave home and asked her dad to pick her!

Of course this is being utilized by the ex-husband to cancel custody of her towards their child. The daughter herself hates her mom for being treated unfairly and said to never return to the mom’s house! The mom has lost her daughter's love and every dream she has for her...

That is the worst things that would happen when someone blinded by love! They can be unreasonably doing things beyond their conscience and even would have the heart to hurt everyone around them and abandoning their responsibilities.

Loving Someone Sufficiently is a True Happiness

Of course everyone can have a different opinion regarding this matter. There are many definitions of love. Everyone can interpret love in different ways and from their own point of view.

And among the various meanings of love, there is one thing quite interesting, that is about loving someone in a sufficient way; A natural love that won’t drive you crazy, that doesn’t bother your life and takes you away from your life’s purposes.

And this time we will try to see interesting perspectives regarding loving someone in a moderate way.

Loving sufficiently doesn’t make you lost your sense and wisdom

Too afraid to lose, sometimes can even lose your mind, act in things that are outside of the “sane” limits, become too possessive or willing to do witless sacrifices and do whatever it is as long as he/she stays by your side.

If you loving someone too much, you would always be willing to forgive whatever mistakes that your partner does. It’s not wrong. It’s just that, if they keep making the same mistakes and disrespect the relationship, why do you just keep on forgiving him/her only because of (example) you don't want live alone?

If this fear isn’t controlled properly, it will end up tormenting ourselves. Loving in a reasonable way will still make us a minded person and behave in a controlled manner. Loving naturally doesn’t make you a loser!

Loving someone sufficiently doesn't curb our life

Loving someone means there are pieces of life that we share with them. There are things we share and build with during our togetherness.

By giving enough levels of our love, we will not be confined by the too passionate love that possibly will drain our energy.

We can still have enough space to develop ourselves and set various other life priorities, since too prioritize love over other aspects will hinder us to see any great opportunities in life. By loving someone sufficiently, we’ll still have room to continue growing as a person.

Loving someone sufficiently will makes it easy for us to manage expectations

Loving someone can be tough sometimes. Moreover, if we have too high expectation of getting returns/rewards for what we have done to the loved ones, we will be at a high risk of feeling disappointed.

It’s not that we could just act cold and flat when we love someone. It’s just that by loving someone adequately, it will be easier for us to set our own expectations and not overly imposing all of our standards to be always fulfilled by our partners.

Loving sufficiently helps us to be always grateful for many things we get

It’s not easy to keep our mind happy in our love life. There will always be new challenges and conflicts when we are committed to a relationship.

Sometimes we will be faced with bad days. By loving our partner sufficiently, we can be more objective in looking at any problems. When you have a fight, for example, you will remember the beautiful moments that have happened to you or to the both of you in the past. No one said love would be easy, but for sure it’s worth it.

The relationship is a full-time commitment. Use that time wisely. Enjoy it when you two have awesome day and behave elegantly when facing a bad situation. With keeping ourselves to not over in loving someone, we can even find more good things in each worse situation and to still feel grateful for getting it because we have ample space in our heart.

Loving someone sufficiently doesn’t make you miserable

Falling in love can create mixed emotions and feelings, then affects our behavior and habits every day.

When we’re too excited in having someone and then getting a very happy moment, we will usually sing and sing all day long as if living in a wonderful land.

And oppositely will feel extremely sad, upset and crying for hours for even just because your partner forgets your birthday! Too much deify a love will make your emotion to be like a roller coaster!

Closing Thoughts

Yep, falling in love can change many things in our lives. Even our mind and behavior can be 180 degrees changed when we are both crazily and romantically falling in love. Even so, try to not love someone excessively to get balanced life and emotional state.

See your love as a plant outdoor. Oftentimes, we could just let it grow naturally without overly giving attention. But, sometimes, it need us to care it to grow healthy and stays strong during and after the bad weathers.

So, what is the meaning of love in your opinion? Hopefully, from the way we love someone, we can always be happy with him/her and can still grow into a better person for the future.
