Love’s Reject
Running low on attractive lies — A love poem
And so, you notice me staring at you. Your beauty forced an awkward durable stare. I apologise for giving you the runaway feeling. My fantasies replaying what is not going on. I want to crawl inside my crippled mind and die. Blood dripping from compassions knees. Breaking my bones to play with love but love has already won. My bravery collapsing as I am always love’s reject.
My truth is unalterable. My collapsed is unmovable. My ugly is unchangeable. Searching for the lust for lust offer. To fall into the arms of another. How many tears must fall to be rewarded a kiss? Can my uninviting fade away? Intense effort with no climax. I must hold onto the words that were never said. Running low on attractive lies that allows me to believe, one day beauty will accept me.
