Love’s Beauty

The Miracle of Love — A Poem

Source

There lies beauty in love in accepting its ending, in my infinite tears embracing lost love. By accepting my torn or too often worn heart, whilst still holding you with love in my eyes and sadness.

I know, love is not a guarantee, not without consequences, but I’d rather love anyway despite the knowledge of this. I don’t want to bar my heart from loving all that exists, from giving and love forever, whenever my heart shines its flame.

Love is unconditional, not depending on sequels, love is about the interdependence between all, for us. Like our friendships, also born out of love; joy, and sorrows, supporting grief as just love with somewhere to go.

Life is full of shattered dreams, heartache, and sorrows, lonesome ’til once again you find a loving shoulder. Yet like flowers, love grows into better tomorrows, if you allow yourself once more to surrender to the flow of its core.

So don’t close off your heart, it will only lead you to fear, don’t pull back from life — afraid of being heart-broken. Keep loving yourself in all your glory and frailty, the only way to love others and your potential to create.

Remember that love is the beating heart of the universe, it’s only through love that there are miracles in this world. Embody life to its fullest, be fearless, and open-hearted, for when you truly love, your heart will never be lost.

Only through the heart can the soul sing, for we are made of love. Only through love can we understand loss, can we break the barriers between us all, can we change the very way that society functions. — Anneliese Dahl
