Loved Ones Need TLC From Time to Time
A cat’s perspective
Here I am with the latest updates about my life. What a life I have. 😻😼
Waking at 4 am to wait for the sunrise and start my bird-watching bonanza, making dramatic sounds to alert the hooman servant how many are flying in the purview of my vision. 😻
Getting exhausted from all the work, and it’s time for my nap, but alas, not without some non-consensual cuddling sessions. In the meantime, I see another bird sitting happily on the balcony, enticing me to attack, no, I’m not supposed to use the word, welcome her.😼
I opt for a quick water break, a few nibbles of food, and start the dance of sleeping under the bed for a half hour and over the bed for two hours. I get up to run around, scratch some posts, and eat wet food before the sunset.
Then, I’m perched on the window to say goodnight to all the birds and a few squirrels. As you can see, I’m swamped throughout the day, whereas this hooman servant is not. Being a better person than most beings, I will not complain about my life but about her struggles in this post.
I’m the epitome of selflessness, kind-heartedness, and humility. Not to toot my own horn. I’m going to talk about my hooman’s real struggles with writing.
Poor girl. She’s trying so hard to write consistently; however, she’s not writing that much these days. What could be the reason? In my humble opinion, it’s a lethal combination of a lack of commitment and focused concentration.
Following a systematic routine is essential to be a productive, creative, and dynamic contributor. Why am I so phenomenal? I never let my work or creativity suffer. My schedule is set and never disturbed.😻
Her problem is the constant fluctuations, mindless disruptions, and incoherent inconsistency. To be fair, her work hours are weird, over-demanding, or non-existent. It’s stressful for both of us as we have to pay the bills every month.😼
She assures me everything is okay, but I worry about her sometimes. What would she do without me? I’m scared about the future. But then, who isn’t worried about the future in these tumultuous times?
Our life is pretty simple, devoid of drama unless she has done something unimaginably wrong to me, and I vent out to you guys. I’m learning to tone down a notch. I hope my noticeable behavioral change will further elevate my status and admiration in your eyes.

Self-love is a blessing ignored by so many ignorant beings. I don’t know why? Talking from personal experience, no one can love us better than ourselves. Self-love teaches us how we’ll like to be treated by others.😻😻
Since I’ve come into her life (hooman servant), she’s been better about self-love but not at the level where I want her to be ideally.
Spring is officially here, so I’m planning to nudge her toward more creative projects. For writing, I would need your help in suggesting some topics for her to write about. Any stories she could write to humor you, entertain, or maybe impress you (exaggeration, I know). Please send me some ideas in the comments. 😻😼
Our house will get some paintings to complete the gallery look I’m going for this summer. Some canvasses, paints, and a brand-new easel have been ordered for her. Then, I think of sprucing the balcony and re-varnishing my old Ikea furniture. For that, the sander and the stain tins have been ordered. I think she can start working on re-varnishing from today.
Other than that, I will send her on some weekend hikes and park visits or a mini-vacation if she can be persuaded to do so.
I’m leaving you all with one piece of advice to spend time with people who inspire you, love you unconditionally, and let you grow exponentially. Money, location, and activities don’t really matter if we’re in the right company then even boring things become exciting.😼
