Love, Trust, Peace, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Divine, Together
A Poem
And the words are
love trust peace forgiveness gratitude divine together
and the words stop us in our tracks as we go
about our panic spirals as we go about our anxiety over
as we go about our day filled with expectations and longings
as we brush up against hope briefly and realize hope is a word that keeps us in wishing
and we realize that we need something firm and now we need something that invests more in us than waiting
we need something to focus in and to spread out to strike down the things that keep us locked
in the past or worried about the future
the words are love, trust, peace, forgiveness, gratitude, divine, together the mantra is in no particular order, the chanting can be silent
the thing is the stopping the breathing
the coming back to self and source to re-center, to ground, to call off
the wars inside and out to clean out the mind like the hoarders closet it is
and just get rid of the things that do not make us into the people we want to be that do not aid us in our journey to
the life that is ours that do not make us feel free and joyful the words like rescuers like helpers like support
bag up the unnecessary and clear the space.
