Love That Never Was.
Being in the same school, Kevin & Rose spent time together cooking, eating, studying, watching movies and accompanying each other home from school. Their bond was metallic, no one could break it.
When Kevin would meet with his male friends, Rose his “soul mate” would be the topic of discussion. His love for her was not only his cup of coffee each morning but also his oxygen. I’d definitely agree with Dr. Seuss as he says, “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” He at times bought her gifts to add onto the complements he showered her with.
One day on a bright summer morning as the wind swung the trees from west to east, Kevin took to Rose’s place. On reaching, he displayed his emotions to her.
“I love you Rose. From the first day I met you I just fell in love with you. You are my angel, my soul mate.”
Dumbfounded & bewildered, Rose took to silence. And after 2 minutes she told Kevin that she loves him but as a brother.
