Love Lives
Poetry prompt by David S.
In the solitude of the heart Love lives In the depths of the soul Love lives In the words of the hurting Love lives In the light of the candle Love lives.
Love lives in the hearts, in the souls, In the hurting, where flames of life flickered out. In memory, long lost loves continue to envelope our hearts. In dance, the tunes turn our senses into a vast canvas of joy. In pictures, we capture the images of unity, partnership, sweethearts.
In the dance of life Love lives In the gathering of lovers Love lives In the gratitude of investment Love lives In spring, summer, winter, fall Love lives
Seasons pass us as we linger in momentary reflection Seeking to rekindle lost loves Onward to higher places, of healed lives Feign err to list the source of time forgotten We meld the golden rays above.
