Love Is In The Air
March Dancing Elephants Press Relationship Prompt: The birds and the bees

Love is in the air…
I am fascinated by the magic of spring. There is so much energy buzzing literally through the air. The bees are busy pollinating, the birds are happily singing, and more people are out and about wearing happier looks. I noticed couples seem to be dreamy over each other, and this led me to think about the saying, “The birds and the bees.” So yes, the bees pollinate, and birds lay and hatch eggs. But spring is also the time when many animals mate and have babies.
Women wear cute sundresses, and men also dress nicely. We look forward to being out and about. It is the time of year when flowers bloom and trees blossom. There are so many new smells and sites that our senses are fully charged, and we get massive dopamine hits, which cause us to be naturally amorous. No wonder love is in the air.
March Prompts
I am happy to present my March Relationship Prompts inspired by the saying, “The birds and the bees.” This month, I am offering several ideas for you to choose from; feel free to write on them all or select a topic of your own!
- Did your parents do a good job having the “sex” talk about the birds and bees with you at a young age? Did they leave it up to your health teacher at school? Or did you just have to wing it, no pun intended?
- Do you feel more amorous in spring? Does it make you feel more alive and passionate?
- What is your favorite spring date that would be different from other seasons?
- Does spring make you feel vulnerable, like a butterfly leaving the cacoon or perhaps like the bee being eaten by the bird in the image above? Sometimes, we get stung, but the sting kills the one who does the stinging, not us.
