Love Is But A Whisper

Love is but a whisper A whisper upon a soul A soul that is committed Committed to what feels right The right to care and to give To give with wholeheartedness Wholeheartedness founded in sovereignty Sovereignty to oneself and life Life is but a filament A filament of naked light The light unto the universe A universe pulsating with energy Energy, a harbinger of potential Potential to transform Transform into something wondrous Wondrous as love Love is … ❤️

I was inspired to craft a poem in this style after reading Suntonu Bhadra’s poem, Voices. Although Suntonu applied his own interpretation of chain verse for his poem, it prompted me to research the foundation of this type of linked verse.
