Love is…
Poem inspired by Ruchi Thalwal 💜🧡

Love is the sight of your smile your dimples barely peeking out to say hello.
Love is the touch of your lips my forehead — the gentlest of wake-up calls, paired with a hearty homemade breakfast in bed.*
Love is the taste of three-cheese lasagna, of a whole roasted turkey with slightly too bitter beer flavoured gravy — memories of our (mostly successful) cooking adventures together.
Love is the faint smell of old spice of coffee, of the homey smell of Ikea, of Japanese bbq dates.
Love is the sound of the quiet tippity tappity of your keyboard and the clickity clackity of your mouse as I write and you game, side by side in comfortable quiet companionship.
