# Summary

The web content presents a haiku poem titled "Love Bird" which reflects on the theme of love through the metaphor of a bird that can speak and form a deep connection, accompanied by a photographic credit to @lawrencemakoona on Unsplash.

# Abstract

The poem "Love Bird" is a creative piece that uses the imagery of a bird to explore the complexities of love. It depicts a bird named Mister love with a sharp beak, symbolizing the dual nature of love—its ability to bring joy and pain. The bird's departure with the speaker's heart illustrates the vulnerability and risk inherent in love. However, the bird's return and declaration of permanence signify enduring love and commitment. The poem is a response to a writing prompt by Deborah Christensen and is shared with a community of writers and thinkers, inviting them to engage with the theme of "bird" in their own work. The author, Geetika Sethi, published this piece in August 2020.

# Opinions

- The author views love as a profound and speaking presence in one's life, not merely a fleeting emotion.
- The poem suggests that love can cause pain, as symbolized by the bird's beak pricking the heart.
- Despite the potential for hurt, the poem conveys optimism about love

A little birdy, with a red sharp pointed beak… was named Mister love.

This little birdy came to stay, but soon it flew with my heart away.

When its beak one day pricking my heart, said love bird… Mr.Love’s here to stay.
