I’d like to offer up this modest poesy & declaration of thanks in response to the Valentines Day poetry challenge by one Rodrigo S-C — you asked for it, bro.

Here it is, detailing the heartbreaking struggles of the artist in finding love pre-Medium; not at all autobiographical:

Standing still, I couldn’t hit it sideways.
