it’s not that i don’t love you anymore it’s just that it’s not the same love anymore

you being the moon the sky and the stars you being the life the spring and the fall

the whole world in your eyes without you everything dies two bodies and one soul you being the purpose and the goal

love proved to be a little more than that had never thought love would be like that

the innocence and the purity that you ask the bright white light that you saw it was just what we dreamt it was not what was meant

it would have been easy if it was like that but it wasn’t like that we just wished it was like that

with all the beauty it had brought there was ugliness we had bought lies were told doubts were born walls were raised trust was torn

i saw you faltering you saw me fall we saw we were so different after all

love proved to be beyond pain love proved to be beyond hate i still carry the scars for you and still my heart beats for you

no don’t ask for that love anymore

it’s not that i don’t love you anymore it’s just that it’s not the same love anymore
