Love And The Symbolism Of The Heart
Love should be given away
Everyone wants love in their lives.
Love makes the world go round. We have all heard that saying. Love is an important part of life upon the earth. It is what makes life worth living. It adds to the enjoyment and pleasure of life.
Encompassed in love are such things as caring, liking, closeness, compassion, empathy, affection, tenderness, attachment, emotion, kinship, family, and friends.
You cannot buy love. It must be given away. People do try to buy love by giving money or material gifts to others. That might help make someone feel better for a while or to gain some favor, but true love is caring deeply in non-material ways although gift giving is a way to show love.
The heart symbol means love. That symbol is used widely to represent good actions and good feelings.
The heart symbol is an ideograph used to express the idea of the “heart” in its metaphorical or symbolic sense. Represented by an anatomically inaccurate shape, the heart symbol is often used to represent the center of emotion, including affection and love, especially romantic love. It is sometimes accompanied or superseded by the “wounded heart” symbol, depicted as a heart symbol pierced with an arrow or as a heart symbol “broken” into two or more pieces, indicating lovesickness. Love encompasses strong, positive emotional and mental states. People who feel love for another person care deeply and want to do all in their power to help that person.
There are all types of love, but they are all a matter of great care for another human being or an animal. Families are especially important in loving others.
The Christmas season is a time where more love is shown around the world. It should be a time of joy and happiness.
Relationships built on love are more fulfilling and enduring. Love does make the world go round. We all need LOVE in our lives.
