Love and Hate
a poem of sorts, about that double edged sword, that thing we call love and the courage we all need to show to find it
the opposite of love is not hate yet the opposite of hate is most definitely love.
love and hate, similar and different, not the same, not that different
you love some… thing, or you don’t you care truly, or you don’t
true love is never blind, never in fury, never enraged and yet love… like kindness … can smother … life itself … when taken to excess…
the heart of love… is not an obsession not simple passion
Love leads to joy it may lead to such pain along the way to heartache… to heartbreak… to that deepest of pits… despair.
Yet love heals the deepest of rifts… the most grievous of wounds… even hate, but that’ll only happen when we all possess the courage we all need…
the courage to cut our hearts open with that double edged sword that thing we call… Love.
Perhaps that’s why i love it so…
