Lots of Stuff for the Holidays

Merry Christmas!

It’s holiday season.

Which means… stuff, a lot of stuff.

I mean, well, it means more than that.

But often, the outcome of the holiday is more stuff.

Why?

Because there are many who’d like to convince you that you don’t have enough.

But when you are surrounded by community and those you love the most, you’ll realize you always have all that you need.

Behind the Blog

I was reading Seth Godin’s daily blog, which is much of the inspiration for my style of writing. This one in particular was titled All the Stuff and was short…

“Markets often persuade us that we don’t have enough. Communities remind us that we do.”

It’s so true, especially around the holidays. There are so many distractions, so many things trying to get us away from the things that matter.

But when it comes down to it, the things that matter the most in life, are each other.

And particularly in the holiday season, there’s nothing more important than our loved ones around us.
