Lost Soul

A #Poem

She is lost at sea Alone on a tiny raft Nothing to cling to But her lonesomeness

Murky eyes pierced into the endless horizon Heart heavy — starved of hope It wonders if this – This right here is death?

Could one feel the pale, cold skin of death whilst she lives?

The waves seem unaware of her existence? Or are they aware of her insignificance? She wondered.

She is lost in the desert Her soul is withered like A dead forgotten oasis

No one in sight Where she stands feels like her sepulchre

She wailed with dried eyes For she has exhausted her tears She has been strong forever And forever herself is worn out

Will I ever be found? She wondered!
