Lost and Found

only to be lost and found again

I was looking for my keys the other night

the keys to my self

I thought I was looking for you

but I was really looking for me my Self my I

I looked under the bed and in the clouds

in the infamous drawer of odds and ends

they were nowhere to be found

so I went out for a walk and there I found my self

hanging upside down from a tree limb swinging in the breeze

like a trickster playing a trickety-trick

I plucked my self up and I carried my self home

home to my home of my heart of hearts

and the keys I now keep safe and sound

in my dreambox of lost dreams
