Inspiration channeled through Chris De Burgh’s “Spanish Train”
Lord, You’ve Got To Win
A crucial poker game

My soul will eventually get on that train. It’s something I cannot restrain. I just prefer between those two to choose who’s gonna win and who will lose. Of course, just wishing and praying kneeled, won’t bring God in front of the steering wheel. My choice, my toil, my volition, my 12-step transforming rounded mission, this whole metamorphotic route is what will come to contribute. But this isn’t a last-minute arrangement; it’s more about an “earlier” engagement. If the purpose is clear and Self’s calling I hear, “I” become wider and wider and my soul deserves God as the train’s driver. Devil himself is also powerful, but he lacks the clarity of how to use that power he directs to others just to dominate them, to make them puppets. He cheats and plays unfairly the game. Who gives their soul to indecent hands, used to betray? As each one of us is being widened and overcomes personality’s boundaries, the poker game between the powers moves away from unfair tricks and maleficence. Two wings will germinate on the train’s rods’ coupling, leading the souls to the celestial gathering; an everlasting, really free company, ready to re-experience cosmogony.
