Looking Up And Embracing The Universe

“At some point in life the world’s beauty becomes enough. You don’t need to photograph, paint, or even remember it. It is enough.” — Toni Morrison

I have seen blue skies in India but only in the hill stations. In the city where I live, we have crossed 400 AQ levels in Air Pollution. I cannot see blue skies here until they shut the city through the lockdown.

Looking at the blue skies in the US was quite a mesmerizing experience, and I had to click this picture immediately because none can match the beauty of the universe.

On My Way To Salem, Oregon, Picture by Gurpreet Dhariwal

This was clicked by me on my way to Salem for lunch with clients. I was enchanted by the blue skies and green trees there. It felt like everywhere I was going, beauty was walking along with me. I embrace nature, and I know it’s worth. I wish people in India would come up with major anti-air pollution plans before it kills us with lung diseases.

At Target in Columbia, South Carolina, Picture by Gurpreet Dhariwal

I was shopping here when it started raining all of a sudden but the view of the weather after it rained was like a scene from a movie. I clicked this picture because the weather made me so happy from inside while I was going through a lot personally and professionally. This picture will always be close to my heart.

On My Way To London, Picture by Gurpreet Dhariwal

Clouds felt like huggable friends in the sky. I wanted to hug them, but then as we started coming down on my way to London, the city appeared in bits and parts covering the side wings of the clouds. I loved the view as if I was walking along with the universe without any fear and remorse.

Maldives, Picture by Gurpreet Dhariwal

The best thing about the Maldives is wherever you see upward, downward, to the left or right side, all you see is water and blue skies. This picture couldn’t be missed because I would want to be reborn as a human for this captivating view again. Until then, I embrace it from the screen of my laptop.

“I believe the best way to begin reconnecting humanity’s heart, mind, and soul to nature is for us to share our individual stories.” — J. Drew Lanham

Thank you Anne Bonfert for coming up with such an enticing prompt. I hope you enjoy my article :)
