Can you apply the same level of curiosity and awe to yourself? This can be challenging because the human species has caused so much pain and suffering to ourselves and to our beautiful planet. Humans, animals, and every other living being has experienced these challenges.We all want to feel like our life has meaning. We want to believe that our existence influences those around us. We want to be important. We want to be heard and valued. This is normal. This is the way we are wired. In community with others, feeling like our opinions, our thoughts, and our actions are respected. This is the hope of every human being.<p id="8ea3"

My wife and I went to visit our beautiful butterfly garden a few weeks ago. As you probably know if you read me regularly this is where I find solace. As I looked at the beauty there, I was once again in awe of my Creator’s handiwork.

I’m not able to explain the amazing things I see in that garden. There is absolutely no way that a bunch of random occurrences could have created the things I see. No way. To look at a butterfly and say that this gorgeous creature could be a random occurrence is missing the grandeur and miracle of life.

When I think of how amazing this garden is, my mind is led to look at life through a spiritual lens.
