Loneliness

At times its scary to realize that how would things be when I grow old, will I still have enough loved ones around & will they still give me their time.

Often when I sit alone, I feel scared , scared of being lonely . It seems everything has stopped . I ask myself , what have I done? Have I done enough, to be proud? Or have I lost all the time? Was it all worth it ? The anger , the fights , They did not do this, they did not give my right.

Often when I sit alone, I feel scared, scared of being lonely. I ask myself , who is with me? Will they vouch for me? Have I earned enough love? Do they even remember me ? Or they simply bluffed?

I then want to go back . Go back in time and correct. All those things I did wrong. Say sorry if I hurt them.

But then , do I still have a chance? Does life let you dance, to your own songs ? Gosh its too late, I feel I can’t change. Can’t change the way they feel, for the things I did. Wish I had another possibility, to rewind and increase probability.

Today I again felt the same way. Hence I pledge to change , My mantra to change from now on , Just for today, do not worry Just for today, do not anger Just for today, be humble Just for today, be honest Just for today, be compassionate toward yourself and others Just for today, I will earn my living honestly
