When scandal rocks the Crown

In 2011, Prince Andrew was publicly accused of sexual assault by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s underaged sex slaves.

Giuffre claims that in 2001 at age 17, Epstein brought her to London and introduced her to Prince Andrew. She alleges that the Prince sexually abused her three times — at Maxwell’s London home that night, and later at Epstein’s homes in Manhattan and Little St James in the Virgin Islands.

These allegations have undoubtedly left a lasting stain on Windsor. The Royal family’s reputation was already tarnished with Harry and Meghan’s exit in 2020.

The monarchy went into damage control as soon as a judge in the United States allowed a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew to proceed. The Queen took decisive action and stripped Prince Andrew of his military titles, royal patronages and use of HRH.

But many question why this move came so late. Why wasn’t he held accountable earlier?

In 2019, BBC’s Emily Maitlis interviewed Prince Andrew as he spoke for the first time about his relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew might have imagined that the interview was his golden ticket to redeem himself and clear his image. But it accomplished quite the opposite.

Andrew dug his own grave and jumped in. He basically screamed, “ I’m guilty.” He had all his defenses ready to fire, but Maitlis made minced meat of him with her composed and analytic questioning.

His deceptions were blatantly obvious. He contradicted himself with every word and worse, and he expressed no remorse or empathy for the victims.

Here are some of his most ludicrous denials and absurd explanations.

Prince Andrew’s relation with Epstein.

Andrew says he was not a close friend of Epstein, yet in 2006 he invited Epstein to Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday at Windsor Castle.

Further in 2010 he spent 3 days at Epstein’s Manhattan mansion and attended a party of 10 people to celebrate Epstein’s release from jail.

When questioned why he would meet up with a convicted sex offender , Andrew said he wanted to break off the relationship with Epstein face to face as he was too honorable.

Makes perfect sense.

Prince Andrew’s relation with Giuffre

Giuffre claims that the London encounter occurred the same night she and Andrew were infamously photographed together, with Andrew’s arm around her bare waist.

Prince Andrew claimed he has no recollection of ever meeting Giuffre, now 38. This can be true. Perpetrators often don’t remember their victims who are just disposable trash to them.

Princes Don’t Sweat.

Giuffre said she had been taken to the Tramp nightclub where, Prince Andrew was sweating all over her. He negated this claim saying “I don’t sweat” due to an adrenaline overdose he experienced in the Falklands war.

According to experts this explanation does not makes sense. Apparently the cessation of sweating from an adrenaline overdose only occurs in horses and Prince Andrew.

Photoshopping Victim

When shown the infamous picture of him standing with his arm around Guiffre, Prince Andrew questioned the authenticity of the photo. As he only wore suits in London, the image had to be a fake.

He then states that the photo was taken upstairs and as he never went upstairs, the picture was doctored. If he never went upstairs, how did he manage to know what upstairs looked like?

Royal Pizza Alibi

Andrew says on the night the photo with Giuffre is said to have been taken, he was taking his daughter Beatrice to a pizza chain restaurant just outside London.

He managed to remember insignificant details like the date he bought pizza 8 years ago but had selective amnesia when it came to recalling Giuffre.

In short his interview was just one lie after another. If Andrew took a polygraph test whilst being interviewed the energy could have kept a small city running. If he was Pinocchio , I can’t imagine how long his nose would have gotten.

Andrew got all his money and privilege from hardworking tax payers. It’s high time he stopped hiding behind palace walls and faced the music for his despicable actions.

It’s important that Andrew’s and Epstein’s crimes are not forgotten and their victims get justice.

In July 2020 Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested and agreed to release of names of 8 ‘John Does’ involved in Epstein’s operations. The truth will out and a lot of high profile people are going to be in hot water.

Soon Andrew will be interviewing with the FBI and not the BBC. One thing is for sure.
