Living in Our Society Can Be Difficult.
What is life? How do we act? Are we doing the best?

In this article, you will find a perspective of the Society and the path that a real person followed, trying to be himself. The facts are true, and I hope that you find helpful insights. Maybe, you even find yourself in the same position as the person’s life I recite.
Without further delay, here is how it goes, it is worth your time.
A human was born from a mother and grow up in a normal family, like you and me. As a child, he was active, with a smile in his face, enthusiast to explore this big world with all the amazing wonders, the beautiful Nature, the amazing Technology, and the millions of different people.
He was thinking in his unique way, interacting with anything around him, always looking forward to finding new experiences. He was shining!
He learned the difference between good and evil. It was simple. Good, is what defends life and evil what destroys life. There was only one golden rule: “ Never make things to others, that you don’t want them to do to you”.
Never make things to others, that you don’t want them to do to you
As a teenager, he was educated, he was told that far fewer things are possible, that he should think like others, that he should obey the system. The shine was fading. The same enthusiasm and curiosity. Others looked to him as ONE person with different faces. As ONE character!
After, he goes to the army, a place to learn to obey in other's orders. A place to eliminate his own thinking. A place to be a pawn!
Fade didn’t finish with him. Time to go to the University, for higher education. He was a good student, he learned about a lot of things. He learned about the forces in the universe, about the stars and the planets, about the structure of the matter, the molecules, the atoms, the electrons, and the core of the atoms.
He became an engineer with a specialization in robotics, a library with feeds, a good citizen. He could talk with the machines, he could write their language and communicate with them, but he was finding it hard to communicate with other people.
He has gone to work in a big company. It was his time to make the difference, to change the world, to make it a better place. He thought that he would find others like him there, people with the same interest, with the same way of thinking. He was wrong.
He discovered that people are basically the same. That is true. They have the same structure, creatures with legs and arms, with neck and head, with a body, and with a mind. Creatures with the same basic needs. Need for food, need for clothes, need for a home, need for company, and need for love.
Something was wrong with them. They didn’t act like a set of like-minded people who were trying to help each other to accomplish a task, a job that must be done. They were selfish, they wanted to be in charge, they wanted to be the commander as in the army, they wanted glory, they wanted to climb to the top of the hierarchy in the company with any cost, no matter what.
The line between good and evil, between decent and indecent, between human and animal, was blurry. Everything was allowed if that is what it takes to become the one. The one in charge. The one with the big salary. The shine, where is the shine?
He quit the job. He started to work in irrelevant jobs to make his living. He chose jobs where he could be the boss of his own if such a job exists except to be the owner of a company.
When he was going out to have fun he faced the same situation. Everyone acted like they were the king of the jungle, the Lion. Everyone was trying to show to others that they had gatch the bull from the horns. That they had expensive clothes, the best car, a nice watch, that they were rich and famous. Irrelevant how they become rich, how they made this money.
The shine, where is the shine that all people have in there childhood?
Nobody was looking to the stars in the night sky, nobody was looking at the rain falling on the leaves of the trees. Nobody was talking about the wonders of the world, about what matters, about the connection between people and the amazing mind which is the creator of our personality and the one who controls how we interpreted what is around us.
He started to see people like servants of the system, puppets of the society, victims of there own mind, maybe because they have given the control of there minds to what the school, the family, the society was told them to do, to be.
He was stubborn like a mule. He knew he didn’t betray himself, himself as a child, as the one who has dreams, curiosity, the belief that there are unlimited potential and possibilities in the universe. He denied being like the others. He was alone, but he had the core of his existence untouched from the dark of the society, from what he should be. Or at least he thought so, he was trying to do so.
He tried to educate more himself, not with the way modern society defines education, but with the way one of his ancestors defines. Plato defines an educated person not with what he knows, but how he acts, how he is thinking, how he communicates with other people, what is his BEHAVIOR.
Or at least he thought so, he was trying to do so.
When his ethical compass seems to be broken he always resorts to the golden rule. If somebody else would do to you what you are ready to do, would that be ok with you?
With the time his arsenal was equipped with more arms. He was more able to defend his core values. He heard a parable about two wolfs, representing the good and the evil, a long time ago. From then this parable becomes his favorite. You can read it here:
He learned the lessons from life as we should all do. He learned that it is better to be in hell with company despite in haven and alone. He learned to appreciate the value of a good company.
He learned that he can be where he wants to be if he works hard and has a dream, a goal, a purpose.
He learned that persistence and patience is the key. No matter what they told you, you must follow your way, otherwise, if you fail you will blame the others, and if you succeed you will feel like you don’t deserve it.
He learned the hardest lesson, that he can’t control the other's mind and what they are doing, only his own, and that he is responsible for doing so. He should give help to others but only if they deserve it, without sacrificing himself. He has the obligation to improve himself, to be a better human being.
He now knows that he was born and will die, and the period between, is what we call life, a precious gift, that must be meaningful, not be wasted.
He found the wisdom not to bother about the past and the future, but only for the present. After all, the present will be your past as time goes forward, and in the present, is the only place you can build your future.
This human who was born and who will die is me!
I write about a lot of things. If you like to hear news from me, stay in touch.
Furthermore, I have written an article with the not so attractive title: An Amazing Experiment, to Understand Your Behaviour. The monkeys and the bananas. I believe that in this experiment you will find out how people are changing their good behavior with the bad, how they exchange the light with darkness, how they lose the shine!
