Living in a Total Paradise

From forests to beaches

Photo by Caroline Veronez on Unsplash

What would you change? Are you tired of always being busy?

Life can move on so quickly Leaving behind your dreams and desires You can forget your true purpose Don’t get carried away

People say that downtime can help It indeed does if you take on a getaway trip

What about a forest? Would you like to visit these humongous beings?

There is so much life Freshness is what you inhale Purity in all its senses

A perfect place to be with nature Greenery all around Million textures on the ground, trees, flowers Only the sound of the leaves dancing

What about a beach?

Would you go to a warmer location?

The sun radiating over your body Soothing the coldness of the city The sand caressing your feet Tired of working long weeks

The breeze blowing your hair A perfect style to go with your tranquillity

The water is waiting for you to get in Letting the waves massage you Rocking you back and forth Waves which are a constant song

Both are great places Where would you go? To live some downtime To live in the moment Some time away from the hectic city life

As I read about poetry, I saw a type called “Pastoral Poem.” The main objective is to express an imaginary way of living, moving from urban life to a more rural one. People united with nature. It usually has parts of religion or shepherds, but I twist this poetry a little bit. I hope you enjoy it!
