Don’t Practice It

When practice gets tough. If it gets monotonous and boring. Look for ways to make it fun again. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel, If something works… use it. Look for other directions and find a way to incorporate it in other ways. Start with something simple. Something you do all the time.

When we practice we are trying to make something better or burn it into our reflexes so that it just happens. We want it to become natural. What we do every time.

Once you decide to learn something don’t make it static. Give it life. Learn from it every time you use it. Put it in everything you do. For you, it will become easy. It won’t feel natural to do it any other way. You won’t even remember when you learned it. It will be the way that is natural.

If someone asks why you do it let them know it is in your blood. It gives you a path to a better understanding of whatever it is.

If you try to teach them it will make you understand it better. Don’t tell them they must do it this way. Ask if they want you to show them how you do it.

Don’t try to tell them this is the only way but it’s your way. Tell them they have to find their own way. A way that works for them. You can show them the path but they have to walk it. Learn from it.

When you start living it, it becomes natural. Give it life.
