Little Green Insect

How did you manage to enter my room?

Hey, little green insect, perched on my wall, how did you manage to squeeze into my space, space which I call my own? was it raining outside, or did you get chased by a larger insect? or was it a chance mistake, that you managed to fly through, to witness a structure called rooms, where humans stay, more so now, than any time before this.

Hey, little green insect, perched on my wall, is it the first time you’re seeing a human being? are you taken aback by the intensity of it all? and is that the reason, your pounding heart, is scared to move, and even try to go out, out from this newly founded discovery, and back, back to the lap of mother nature?

Hey, little green insect, perched on my wall, are you are a lonely soul, searching for a companion, just a presence of someone around you, that would make you feel less lonely, and let that brain of yours to overthink, less?

Whatever the reason is, little green insect, you’re free to stay around, fly around the room, explore the nooks and crannies, sit on the furniture, and when you wish to, you can fly away through the open window, into your own world, into those whom you know.

But until then, lets savior this company, this unique company, where we can only stare at each other, watching each other’s move, probably a bit scared, layered with inquisitiveness and a tinge of a smile, where there isn’t anything that can be spoken, but again, words not spoken are the ones, best expressed, I guess.
