Listening to Music

Show the algorithm what you listen to and it will help you “know thyself”

I don’t know if everyone has a relationship with music, but I do. Songs remind me of places, persons, and moments… they even remind me of certain books that I read while listening to them.

They’re one of my ways of mentally traveling back in time.

Spotify tells me that I am an explorer of sorts in the latest wrap-up. And I am. I like discovering music all the time. I’ve been on a constant quest for songs that might speak to me for years.

And this applies to pretty much everything else.

I might be the discoverer type at heart, but when I find what I was looking for, I become “the replayer”: I play and replay songs until I really need to stop listening to them. I then move on, giving a chance to others.

My playlist reflects how I change over time. My evolution. Doesn’t yours?
