About my content marketing strategies.

Repurposing or recycling your content.

Admittedly, a new area I am venturing into. But it cannot be that difficult, repurposing, does not mean “article spinning” " or I hope not! Previously, I had around 30K followers on LinkedIn.

And through my own stupidity, I had to start over on both LinkedIn and Medium. But I have mentioned that several times in other stories, just so you know I am no stranger to these platforms and writing.

But I have to add that starting over turned out to be more of a blessing because this time I start from knowledge. And the growth has been much better than the first time around, with more responses too.

So, in order to avoid personal plagiarism assumptions, I have to edit around 150 articles, for recycling on LinkedIn. You are more than welcome to test this strategy with me because it is based on a combination of strategies already mentioned in my Medium stories.

Content repurposing or recycling is basically re-using your existing content. And then presenting it in a new format to expand the reach and lifespan. But I also believe that at least 10% of the article needs to be rewritten so it is not an exact replica.

Moving on to combined efforts with LinkedIn.

But the strategy worked just fine with Quora and Medium. I see no reason that adding LinkedIn to the equation can be none other than a traffic boost of note! Considering LinkedIn’s 1.5 billion monthly visitors!

This time around, instead of just sharing Medium stories with Quora, I can also share LinkedIn articles in Quora Answers. Pretty much the same strategy, just adding a few bits.

If I can manage the same consistent growth as I have over the last 4 months on Medium. I see a bright future with LinkedIn, Quora, and Medium for this year.

You might want to read the Medium story below, on this same strategy with Quora. Then just add LinkedIn articles to the mix. I for one am rather excited to see how this turns out.

I thought of this, seeing that I already have multiple content marketing strategies in place for Medium. Now, while adding time to that equation for growth, I will be doing the same on LinkedIn allowing Medium to grow.

Affiliate marketing with LinkedIn, Quora, and Medium.

This time, however, I want to start LinkedIn articles, focusing more intensely on SEO. Because as with Medium, your LinkedIn articles also get indexed in search engines. And we all know what that means!

But I also think that a fusion between Quora answers, LinkedIn articles, and Medium stories is going to deliver surprising results. Cross-linking between these 3 types of (topic-relevant) content, I think is an idea worth testing.

Besides, they are all indexable URLs and those normally pose no threat or rejection at all. Providing you include all the necessary legalities with affiliate marketing. Like image captions, disclosures, etc.

But, as with Medium, I strongly suggest you read and understand the rules and regulations around affiliate marketing. You can make a lot of money through these platforms with affiliate marketing but there are rules. However, affiliate offers are not accepted everywhere.

Medium — Affiliate Offers Accepted.

Quora — Affiliate Offers NOT Accepted.

LinkedIn — Affiliate Offers Accepted.

To the best of my understanding, affiliate offers are allowed with LinkedIn articles. I went through all the rules and regulations and couldn’t find anything suggesting otherwise. Which is why I suggest you read through all that personally.

Basically, your LinkedIn article and Medium stories URLs are shared in Quora answers. Driving Quora traffic to your articles and stories, but you will also need Quora spaces for that. But everything is included in the other Medium stories included in this one.

Sharing Affiliate Links Anywhere.

Although some sites allow you to share affiliate links, I still strongly suggest steering clear of raw direct affiliate links. It can often be seen as spam, and besides, they are “unattractive” links”. Therefore, just use bridge pages, affiliate campaigns, and one-page websites.

That way you are sharing an indexable URL, that is what an indexable URL is. It is a domain or site where you redirect to your affiliate offer. Or use a cloaking strategy with a plugin called Pretty Links Lite, which also makes your affiliate link indexable in all major search engines.

For this cloaking strategy to get affiliate links indexed, you will need your own hosted domain though. However, the strategy and tools are discussed in the Medium story below. You might want to check that out.

About my content marketing strategies.

They are flexible and assembled with different components and purposes that you can mix and match (reading between the lines). But for that, you must understand the few key points of making money online.

Own The Unique Thing.

Offer An Effective Solution.

Choose Your Delivery Method.

Master The Art Of Creating Curiosity.

Make Time To Respond Consistently.

Shuffle Strategy Components To Form Your Own.

These six components form the framework of any content marketing strategy, in my experience anyway. That is why I love creating flexible content marketing strategies.

This means that when you “read between the lines”, then you will be able to construct your own strategies. Because I am trying to simplify them as best I can. I know how I struggled to get started.

But a word of warning. Once you start creating your own content marketing strategies. And some of them start working, it becomes addictive to the point of obsession!

Because content marketing strategies perform several tasks. And without several content marketing strategies in place. You will find it increasingly more difficult to generate any sales online with affiliate marketing.

If you can add any value or a bit of LinkedIn knowledge, that will be most appreciated. Share your thoughts about this content marketing strategy, as I am off to start testing it.
