LinkedIn Inspired Some of My Latest Articles

Writers, you can find inspiration anywhere, especially when you branch out.

I joined LinkedIn because I have been focused on using social media to better myself. In the past, I had a toxic relationship with Instagram and Twitter, which I am eliminating from my life moving forward.

Instead, I am turning my attention to Medium and LinkedIn to benefit myself and my writing. LinkedIn is a business and employment-oriented online service for professional networking and career development. It also allows job seekers to find employment and employers to post jobs.

My plan is to further establish my online brand by building my profile on LinkedIn. I am hopeful that I will be able to grow my writing career someday and LinkedIn might be able to help me find opportunities.

I discovered an unexpected advantage to LinkedIn. The platform is already benefiting my writing because I receive notifications about top news articles.

Most of what I read on LinkedIn is general wrap-ups of what is going on in the world, but a lot of it involves the work shift, getting hired for employment, and getting ahead in a career. I frequently write about work and work-life balance so those articles appeal to me.

I do not simply rewrite the findings I view in these articles. There is nothing creative in that. I offer my own opinion and reflections as well.

I publish daily so inspiration does not naturally hit me all the time. I pull it from the world around me, especially what is going on right now, which will hopefully make my articles relevant and interest readers. As LinkedIn inspires me, I will continue to share my thoughts on the current workforce.

When I joined LinkedIn, I was branching out in an attempt to advance my writing career through networking. I had not realized that this could inspire some of my writing. This proves that inspiration can be found anywhere!
