Lined With Silver

A Poem

Photo by Kelly Lacy from Pexels

It’s on the third floor, my little nest, my place of rest, my home.

It’s through the door, and up the stairs, leaving all my cares, on the mat.

He’s the one I adore a warm embrace, his shining face, my home.

It’s the place I soar, my love-filled heart a brand-new start, love acrobat.

On a far-flung shore, my current den, silver-lined, zen, my home.

~thanks for reading~

This poem was written for Promposity’s April challenge, where I was kindly tagged by Dennett.

I am tagging Marie T Smith, Jonathan Greene and Francine Fallara to join in — if they wish ❤
