Limited Rebellion
A Poem

I have nearly declared war with myself over how long it has been since I touched you Lying on your belly green eyes glowing over this hatched discomfort and I forget and I forget and won’t tell my fingers to stop or not yet, anyway Flooded by the recognition of the beauty of your skin your ink filling eyeballs tempting sweat out of tiny holes and the hair that falls forwards to bind to your lips excuses me to the thought I was having before I looked Lover, I am losing this rebellion these limits of distance between me and you
