Like a Feather in the Wind

A soul’s uplift

Feather in the wind Swirling on currents, lifted high A life remembered holding close To family members still earthly tied

The anniversary has come along Since life departed and alone am I Watching children of my earthly soul Hands clasped together, head bent and cry

Emotional turmoil from the great beyond I watch them with spirit eyes Ghostly arms outstretched To hold them close and ease their pain

When lonely and struggling with life And my children need a parents love In a feather’s guise, I gently drift Once more into their sightline

I float upon a summer’s breeze Turning gently to catch the light, Of their imagination, their emotions imbued Their soul becalmed and spirits lift
