I’ve wandered far, seen the world from new to old. Names of great men in stories retold, Echo through ages, Across the land, In languages diverse, There a legend boldly stands.
Their greatness so vast, Myths they’ve sown. Legacies in which they left, Leaving minds overthrown. Achievements and adventures they’ve sought, Bold men chasing what life has brought.
Wonder and enlightenment in their wake, In simple truths, they find no mistake. Yet, I’ve met good men on my quest, Humble souls, who give their best.
Visit the fisherman by the shore, The scribe with wisdom to explore. The artisan of chariots, his work meticulous, Guiding their people, in roles so prestigious.
With strength refined and hearts so pure, They sacrifice for what they’re sure, Is worth every ounce of love they give, In shadows, they work, & silently live.
Names unknown, unappreciated they remain, Tragic lives, their silent pain. Serving the world in quiet grace, On tiny notes, their selfless trace.
Your happiness a reflection of the quality of your thoughts. Destiny an expression of the quality of your actions.
Remember, never forget the cost, Of what we’ve built, of what we’ve lost.
As those before, with hopes and dreams, Their torch passed on, through life’s river streams. We hope the ones who follow will see, Through hardships and difficulties, to the stars we’ll be.
