Life Loving Itself

Are We Taking Existence For Granted?

Offer up some gratitude with a few simple steps…

“From wonder into wonder, existence opens.” — Lao Tzu

  • Do you feel life is a gift?
  • Do you sense you were sent here for a larger purpose? Maybe you are not sure why, or maybe you know… If so, and you feel inspired to share, please comment on what it is that you are doing here on this exquisite planet!
  • Do you want to be on earth?
  • Do you perceive the interconnectedness with all of life?
  • Are you ready and willing to contribute, and give back to existence? To be of service to a vision more expansive than the ego during these very momentous times.

We each have a unique role, and it is high time to discover, remember, and surrender to what it is. To live in purpose with all that we are.

“See everything as a group effort, because it is. The moon, the stars, angels, the universe — all are in alignment to create art, wisdom, and things of beauty. It doesn’t matter who wields the pen or the paintbrush; only humans think it does.”

— Honey Bee, “We Walk Beside You. Animal Messages for an Awakening World.”

Years ago I experienced a pre-birth dream…

I was, as I am now, a soul being — an essence of emanating energy and light. I saw a tremendous number of spirits all waiting in line to come to Earth. There were however not enough vessels, as in women with vagina portals to bring them into being. So they waited with keenness. Each held a yellow card; maybe it was their mission, purpose, and compass for their direction in the bigger picture of life…

Bright Light Meditation:

Take your time and go slow.

Find a quiet location where you will not be disturbed; a closet, beneath a tree in nature, a favorite room. Close your eyes. Take a few slow deep breaths… Listen, and feel your heartbeat. Bring your attention down into your solar plexus (the place above your belly button, and below your ribs). See a bright golden-yellow light flickering there. Breathe into it.

Imagine a shimmering radiant white light rising from the earth like a cloud. It rises to the soles of your feet, travels up your shins to your knees, thighs, perineum, pelvis, up into your abdomen, and then further up where it gathers in your solar plexus. With each breath, allow the light to pulsate and expand… Now allow this shimmering radiant white light to continue traveling up as it expands into your heart, your throat, third eye (the point between your eyebrows), and to the top of your head. Allow this light to open like a lotus flower on the crown of your head... Breath and enjoy the sensations…

Now imagine a bright golden light above you that waterfalls down the top of your head, cascading all around you: down your forehead, throat, heart, and into your solar plexus. Remain here for a few breaths…

Now let this golden light continue to travel down into your belly, to the soles of your feet, and into the earth. Continue to breathe slowly and deeply.

When inspired, bring your focus back to your radiant golden-yellow solar plexus, and revel inquietude for as long as you wish…

When you are ready, ask your Higher Self, God, Great Spirit, your Ancestors, Angels, and Guides (whatever divine energy you resonate with) to help you remember:

Why did I come here?

How can I be of greatest service?

Listen with intent, and trust what you receive.

Note any symbols, visions, words, gut feelings, sensations, or impressions.

When it is time to move on from the meditation, refocus on your solar plexus and allow the radiant golden-yellow light to reduce, and then gently fade.

Let all the remaining light expand within, and then into your interconnected surroundings.

Slowly begin to move your fingers and toes as you ground into the present, becoming fully cognizant in body, mind, and spirit. As you slowly open your eyes; you are wide awake, alert, feeling refreshed, and ready to be all that you came here on Planet Earth to be.

Record all insights in your journal.

  • If you did not encounter anything; practice patience, be diligent, devoted, and try again… As many times as you need.

A couple more options are to grab a journal and write at the top:

Why did I come to Earth?

How can I be of service?

1) Meditate the way you love. When you are done, pick up your journal and begin writing…

  • Write with no editing or judgments. Just let it flow out with honesty and authenticity.
  • I recommend writing for a minimum of three pages, or to set a timer for at least seven minutes. Keep writing until you come to a natural end.
  • If you reach a pause, but don’t feel complete, write the next thing that comes to mind (even if it seems out of the left-field). Go with grace and see where it leads you. It may be very unexpected!
  • If your pen slows, begin the next sentence with the same questions, and keep writing…
  • Often the nectar emerges after we have gotten all of the clutter out of the way. Which is why it may be helpful to do these exercises many times. There may be some healing and dissolving of fears that first need to be experienced.

2) Another option is to write the questions on a small piece of paper, and then stick it under your pillow before falling asleep. Keep a journal and pen nearby.

With strong intent, you will get the answers.

Create a Love Letter:

To the heavens, the earth, the universe; again, whatever your natural draw. Offer up gratitude for existence, the opportunity to be alive, and fulfill your reason for being at this very significant and special time.

After creating your love note to the Divine: color or paint the back of your card with yellow, and then transcribe your mission!
