Life Lessons Are In Inspirations — Birds, Fishes And A Rough Sea
Inspirations are in life lessons too.

I find inspiration in everything because I believe that all of us are unique and special. My belief doesn’t apply only to humans. Nature, plants, and animals too. I enjoy watching the Sun as it sets. I often wonder, is the sun ever tired of always giving hope and life to humanity? The sun never takes a break, never. I know humans who never take a break when giving kindness and love. I am inspired by both.
Yesterday I went sunset watching. Did you know that no two sunsets are the same?

Lately, I notice that the sea has been raging as if it’s angry with humanity. Sitting and watching the sea’s wrath and I wonder. Is the sea angry? Why is it going in that direction? Does the sea meet the sky?

It’s crazy hot here in Jamaica and people flock to the seaside because it is so cool.
I too.
At the seaside, birds feed on fish. I also enjoy watching, wondering how can the birds see inside the sea. Birds would fly around their eyes aimed into the water, then swoop down and dip into the water and come up with a fish. This goes on many times as I watched.

I find it amazing as some of the bigger birds would steal the fish from the smaller birds. Sometimes they clash as the smaller birds would fight back.

It’s the same with humans, the strong prey upon the weak.
Yesterday, the sea was raging, and I noticed that a few birds were around. I waited and watched. Few brave birds dare to test the waves as they rage to the right taking bits of garbage with them. Inspirations and why questions flooded my thoughts.

One bird in the image below stayed above flapping his wings, staring down into the air wondering if he should test fate and risk his life against the wrath of the sea.

I also saw no small boats going by. When the sea is calmer, small boats will pass by.
None did.
Also no swimmers. Children, mostly boys often take a dip too. The sea’s mood, demands that they stay on land where they will be safer.
My inspiration made me realize that when the sea is rough, these sea birds won’t be able to feed. I am aware that the fishermen focus on the weather and can read the sea before venturing out. But what will these birds eat?

My husband says, “They only eat fish.”
“But they can’t because the sea is too rough and they are smart enough to know not to tempt fate,” I said.
They are unable to see in the water because of how the sea was raging. My inspiration just taught me an important life lesson. When my life is a mess, I won’t be able to see the important things. Like the birds can’t see the fishes that their life depends on.

When the sea is calm, the birds can see beneath the surface of the sea clearly and will be able to feed. When our lives are going the way we want them, some of us can see what lies ahead and behind us through our actions, choices, and decisions. Below, the birds can see themselves in the water. That is power for them.

Many people come to the seaside with their lines to relax and fish. Many birds flying around and feeding is a positive sign to fishermen or people casting their lines into the sea.

Few or almost no birds, along with the bad mood of the sea, it’s a sign for the fishermen to stay away.

They did. My husband also can read the signs of the sea.
Life lessons are everywhere and in everything.
Yesterday thanks to inspiration, I learned that when the sea is rough, certain birds could starve.
Climate change affects everything and everyone. Life lessons are wrapped up in your inspirations.

The sea is more calm than rough, so the birds won’t starve. I also learn to plan for the days when the sea is rough so I won’t starve.
