Life is not Just the Passing of Time

Weekend Prompt: “Poised On An Arc Of A Grand Cycle Of Time”

Life is not just the passing of time, it is a collection of experiences, their frequencies and the intensity of those experiences––remarked, Bill Bailey and reiterated by Jim Rohn.

Time is not watching the clock tick away or philosophizing Einstein’s take on what time is. Time is life in focus, in the now. Happening. Time is a measure of a gift — consciousness, the opportunity to be and to feel.

Time is life computerize — nothing but mans fear to seek control. Life is oblivious of time. So why shouldn't I?

To seek to worry over time is to seek to act out of apprehension of the unarticulated.

Time is a product of our insecurity — our fears.

I do not see time — or I choose not to. I only see life. I see an opportunity to live. Will that opportunity last a hundred years? 80 years maybe? It doesn't matter. Or maybe it does, and I'm just too dumb to know.

In the endlessness of space and the infinitude of time, I am meaningless — or virtually. So why agonise with time?

Haven't you wondered that when we put all our focus in the moment, it somehow amounts to quality time that is well spent? What does that tell you — time and life are intertwined? Maybe. Or maybe we created time to try to control life, as best as we can. For man feareth that which he cannot control. Marriage — a good place to start.

I am not bothered that much about time if I can focus on enjoying this film reeling in front of my eyes this very moment. A moment, five minutes well spent, is a life well-lived. Maybe indeed Einstein was right — TIME is an illusion.

All there probably is, is LIFE moving in its own direction and at its own pace.
