Life Is A Journey Meant To Be Lived
Tuesday: I am the captain, ship, and navigator of it all.

Life is this individual journey in a crowded sea of people. But this doesn’t mean that it has to be a lonely adventure.
I’ve never have been a fan of the concept of fate or destiny as an unalterable law. I firmly believe we are born with the potential or the predestination to be or do anything we want.
Everyone can write, but not everyone can be a writer. The same goes for singing and other talents we may possess. Many people are born with these talents, and there’s where I believe the concept of fate resides. We all have a purpose, but it is our responsibility to find it and our decision to act upon it.
The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
We start this journey with an empty ship full of rooms that can only be filled with memories. We will collect memories while we travel. Memories that shape the person we are and influence the one we will become.
No one can board our ship or travel our journey. But in this vast sea, we will often find people with whom we can navigate and share the sea. Some of these other ships come to us before a storm and stay until it pass others come after the storm and help us recover.
Both have their purpose and a journey to complete and are the ones that teach us to let go and to save them in the rooms of memory.
And there will be others that will stay navigating by our side. These are the ones that help us prepare for the storm, endure it, and recover. These ships accept our individuality recognizing they can’t travel the journey for us but stay at our side to support us.
Even so, we will encounter these ships many times in our journey; their aid is limited. Unless we realize and accept that we are the ship traveling the sea of our lives, we won’t reach our potential and find our purpose.
“Look outside and you will see yourself. Look inside and you will find yourself.” — Drew Gerald
I like to see life as the constant discovery of purpose. Because we can’t only have one purpose in life, every season of our journey will reveal a new purpose once we start living intentionally.
Being intentional is crucial to grow and achieve success. But we need to keep in mind that as navigators in our life, we get the chance to be spectators and take our time to enjoy the adventure.
It is important to reach our goals to take breaks sometimes. We only get one chance in life, or at least we only remember one lifetime at a time. So let’s make the most of it.
“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” ― Eleanor Roosevelt
To stand at the top of our world feeling full of purpose lets us silence our minds and meditate on our individuality. That trait makes us similar to others but is completely different in each of us.
You are unique, special, and full of purpose; embrace it and enjoy the journey of your life.
