INTRODUCTION
I could have written 6 different articles with the points I mentioned above, still, all together, they wouldn’t have been enough to look out the window of life and get at least 1% of its complexness.
Life needs to be celebrated by living it to the fullest.
I don’t want to be a spectator of my life, neither you should be.
WHY THOUGHTFUL PEOPLE SUFFER THE MOST
There are different categories of thoughtful people: thoughtful as a realistic person, as a sensible one… I’ll give an example: a thoughtful person who is diving into a new activity, as such starting writing on Medium, knows beforehand they probably won’t get viral soon. However, this is an isolate case becuase being thoughful could eventually save you from “Instant success“ illusions and the consequent disappointments. Generally, in life, thoughtful people ask themself a lot of questions about what they see, to clear their mind. Unfortunately, most of the time they:
- don’t get the answer
- don’t like the answer
- get the answer but no one else can see it too
Last point is fundamental to understand why thoughtful people suffer the most. In a situation where it’s needed to make a decision or just evaluating whether or not a certain environment is ideal, thoughtful people are more likely to come up with a deep reflection. What happen if nobody else thought at the same depth and they decide that reflection is not influential?
Personally, I see myself as one of them. I think a lot about everything that surround me, from a season changing to a person’s behavior. In those moments I feel so inspired and my mind get crossed by manyfold intuitions. Sometimes they lead nowhere, sometimes I’m able to understand the musicality of life, the poetry of nature. Frequently, people take it just for pretty words they can’t feel the beautiness of, as they’re not in my mind.
YOU CANNOT CHANGE EVERYTHING
That’s it. Perhaps you see a friend of yours in a bad situation and want to help… that makes you a good person but if it’s not effective, then, it’s not your fault. There are choices we can’t take for other but lead them, there are illnesses we can’t cure but relieve, there are people who make mistakes we can just forgive, help out or try to understand, there are things we can’t prevent but face, preventing them living to the fullest to be ready as they come.
This, at least, will make you feel comfortable with yourself.
SOMETIMES PEOPLE ARE CLUELESS
Everybody goes through something in their life. Those are the darkest periods that have you questioning yourself lots of legitimate and painful questions. In those periods you lose hope, in everything and everyone. Time is your only friend, it helpes you day by day. Was it all your fault? The truth is we don’t control what happens; it’s just happens, no matter how unfair it might look. If you hate the world because it seems not to care nor to comprehend, remember people don’t always know if you have a desire, a need, a fear… even if they’re your friends.
When you walk down the street, please, notice if anyone looks upset and think if you want others to go through the same dark periods you’ve been through. You don’t know what they’re up to, perhaps you can lighten them, in some cases, save a live.
Then maybe, you’ll be awarded with a true bond.
Personal reflections
Harsh and painful truths about life are often inexplicable, there are and you have to handle them.
Going thorugh all of that might be painful but it teaches us something, without letting us know.
From pain arises magic, the magic of changing things.
Of course what you’ve been through can’t be already a memory. But at some point you have to move on, which doesn’t mean you forget everything, rather, you acquire the awareness that the best option is to commemorate past with memory, and commemorate life with present and future. Otherwise… suicide is never an option, now I’ll explain you why.
TO ALL THE LANDSCAPES I’VE NEVER DARED TO PAINT
I don’t know if there’s anything more stunning than nature.
I feel small
blended in a dense forest of hope.
My senses awoke
my youth arose,
aware I’m not that small
anymore.
LOVE
Love is that feeling for something, an animal, an achievement, a passion… but when you love somebody…
it’s another story.
Love is that feeling that unfolds our true soul. Most of the time is messed up, though. If it lasted forever it would be… Honestly? I don’t know, love makes us do stupid, incredible, humble, over the limit, unexpected things. But for one thing I’m sure:
As long as there’ll be love, there’ll be hope.
With it, no tragedy is unbearable. But a tragedy of love, happened to the loved ones, can cause the greatest pain. So,
be sure to be grateful for all the moments you’ve had the opportunity to love.
THE REASERCH OF TRUE HAPPINESS
As said by John Keating, played by Robin Williams, in Dead Poets Society:
And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for
In these words is hidden the secret of happiness. To be happy you have to be someone, a someone who may be a friend, an engineer, a son, a flowers lover…
For poets warm the heart feeling the emotions that a tree bestows when it blossoms, that’s all they desire; for engineers melt the heart seeing a progress in a project they dived into after years of studies…
You have just to be someone to be happy.
You just have to be someone because to feel anything precious, magical, life itself creates huge contexts and opportunities. You can be bored anytime you want, there’ll always be a new opportunity to be amazed again.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Life make every moment unique, for better or worse. It breaks us, it puts a smile on us, It forges us, it overwhelmes us with such intense emotions.
What will come next? Only time will tell us but I won’t be waiting it, it will wait me while I’m living at the fullest; hopefully it won’t be bad otherwise… that’s just life.
