Life is a Balancing Act

Give and take. Life and death. Come and go. Up and down. Win and lose. These aren’t just words. They are Balance speaking to us, demanding to be recognized.

I work long shifts and drive all over the place to bring them what they needed. I am the GIVER, not the TAKER.

And his story touches my heart. I, too, am a Giver, and I enjoyed myself. Sometimes it’s not by choice because I had more takers than givers. Giving is the right thing to do, whether you have a little or a lot. I want, so I give, but like Bob Pepe, I give more than I take.

If giving were a monetary investment for me, I would yield no returns from most of the people I would have invested in.

Thank God it isn’t. I am surrounded by people who believe they should take from me because I have a little more than they have. That doesn’t stop me from giving, but I use wisdom to ensure that the people I give need it.

In my culture, most people think that you are either rich or a fool if you are generous. Isn’t that a horrible way to think?

Kindness is as necessary to humanity as water is to the body.

Give and take. Life and death. Come and go. Up and down. Win and lose.

These aren’t just words. They are Balance speaking to us, demanding to be recognized. Life requires it, and if you refused to allow it in, life would find ways to ensure that you do. Balance teaches many life lessons opening the door to wisdom and a more prolonged, happier life.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary and one of Balance many meanings: an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.
