Life in a Small Place
a poem
The tiny house Is best ringing with laughter
The tiny house Is best beaming with comfort
Pillows, blankets, places to sit Small gatherings in a small place
A party in the best of senses Just people we know and love
Reading books on the couch Having a glass of wine, a cup of tea
Babies running about, lifting up this or that Exploring, eating cake from the floor
Our life in a small space, our life in a tiny place It’s like being hugged every day
Necessary and sweet Rewarding and simple
