Pat yourself on the back because you are so brave and you are so strong.</p><p id="8a4d">And because I know that most of you are going through something in life and have faced many obstacles and challenges, this goes out to all of you.</p><p id="edcf">Whether you just started a business, have a family, or you are traveling the world, every single situation and every single life journey has its challenges. So be proud of yourself because you are still standing.</p><p id="5548">Don’t ever forget how strong you actually are and what you have accomplished. Look back at your life and think of all the difficult things you have already overcome.</p><p id="930c">And if you need a breather to cry just for a bit, then do so. You are allowed to feel human emotions, even the painful ones.</p><p id="2583">Often times we forget how strong we actually are and it’s easy to believe that we can’t overcome certain things. But trust that if you look back, surely you will find many situations that you have conquered.</p><p id="5333">It’s important to remember those times.</p><h1 id="d683">Take the opportunity to grow</h1><p id="9b29">Some of the things I repeat to myself as I stop for a minute is that there is always a reason for the things I’m going through. There is some kind of lesson in there.</p><p id="34c3">Personal growth is going on at that moment, even if I might not be aware of it at the time.</p><p id="602d">I often speak about curiosity — having the curiosity to get to know yourself on a deeper level.</p><p id="eb7

Even when it gets so difficult that you don’t think you can move forward, believe that this is an opportunity for you to grow.</p><p id="9cc2">You are developing inner strength and if you take this opportunity to learn something then it will get easier.</p><p id="b4e0">Sometimes it takes more effort to do this when you’re in the middle of the storm, but it shifts your perspective and that is everything.</p><p id="6249">So take the time to stop walking for a few moments, breathe, and think about what you can learn from this situation.</p><h1 id="7660">Useful tools to move forward</h1><p id="e57f">Try to stir your mind towards thoughts of curiosity and ask questions like “what is this teaching me?” and “what are my options here?”</p><p id="df00">It works and it gives you back some of that strength you need to move forward.</p><p id="9c9d">The right time to stop walking would be when you notice that you are feeling drained, anxious, or scared.</p><p id="e63b">That is your queue that you need to stand still for a bit and take care of yourself.</p><p id="c3c9">Take a few days to think about different solutions, clear your head at the gym, take a walk in nature (one of my favorites), or talk to someone you trust.</p><p id="fbe7">You can also try meditation, watch content on YouTube, or turn to books on personal development for motivation.</p><p id="fec4">It might not help right away but slowly but surely you will get there.</p><p id="d22e">Make a commitment to yourself that you will indulge in self-care and personal growth because you deserve a life that is amazing.</p><p id="38f5">And I promise you that <i>you, </i>are deserving of that!</p><p id="3b4d"><i>If you enjoyed this piece, make sure to follow me for more authentic and unfiltered articles on how you can step into becoming your true self. Life Has Meaning — Even When It Doesn’t Feel Like It

Encouragement for those who are struggling right now or just need some hope and inspiration.

The wind that’s blowing in your face

When things get hard it might feel like there is no meaning to the thing we call life. When we encounter struggles, one after one — when it feels as if the wind is stopping us from walking in the speed we would like — it might feel as if all the walking is for nothing and we are getting nowhere.

But do you know what the wind actually does? It is guiding you, pushing you forward. Sometimes, you just have to realize that it’s time to change direction. And other times, you need to stop walking for a second.

An opportunity to regain strength

If you have been walking for a long time, with the wind blowing in your face, then it’s time to stop walking for a bit. This is the time to stand still so that you can catch your breath and rest in the order you can gather your strength.

This is such an important thing to do.

Why?

Because it is very difficult to keep going and believing in yourself when you are tired, drained of energy, and can’t see the road in front of you. The wind keeps blowing and you feel yourself walking slower and slower, finding it harder and harder to breathe.

I know how you feel. I don’t know what you are going through right now (feel free to share if you like) but I am familiar with the feeling of trying to move forward when it seems like everything is going against you.
