I heard about ‘fado music’ but never had a chance to explore it before. As I was looking into numerous travel videos, and blog posts to know more about Portugal before my recent family trip there, I got a quick glimpse of the genre.

We decided to explore the music. Hence, we attended a fado show at Clube de Fado in Lisbon, and, I would say, it was a great experience. Perhaps, I will write more on the ‘fado music’ later on, but for the readers, here goes a video of the show.

Hope you’ve enjoyed it!

I wrote the poem as part of the Week 16 poetry prompt, ‘Musical’. If you would like to participate, please explore the following announcement, and submit your poem to Paper Poetry.
