Life After NaNoWriMo

It’s December — what do I do now?

What do we do with the manuscript/articles we wrote for NaNo?

· Revise — check that what you wrote makes sense and fulfills your dream.

· Edit — correct all the spelling, grammar, and comprehension errors. Grammarly is a great tool and is free.

· Find a few beta readers — give them a short window (about 2–4 weeks) to read a copy of your book and give you honest feedback.

· Create a book cover — you can use Canva to make your own, use KDP’s cover creator or hire a professional artist.

· Hire an editor — if you wrote a novel, you might want to hire a professional for the final touches.

· Plan a book launch — host an in-person party or an event. Show your creation to everyone!

Congratulations on your new masterpiece!
