Lies We Believe About Ourselves When We Dare To Dream Big.
And The Truth.
We love to dream.
It is the possibility of a dream coming true, that’s what keeps us going through life.
Taking actions to create your dreams, in reality, carries a different perspective.
Dreams are often left unattended because you were too afraid to follow them.
Lies. Beliefs you Believe.
I have been here, everyone goes through the same limiting beliefs whether they admit it or not. What separates you from the rest is how willing are you to question your way of believing.
Here are some lies you believe:
“The journey is not clear. I am not sure.”
“Life is hard and I don’t have enough time.”
“I have a dream but it can’t be a reality because I don’t have the company I require to be successful.”
“I don’t have friends who support me.”
“I tried, I guess it is not in me to be that perfect. It’s not going to work out for me”
“I don’t have a mentor.” or “I need to find a mentor first”(a way to delay making a decision) and vice versa.
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t — you’re right” ~ Henry Ford
The Reality.
We are humans, we are emotional beings.
“When dealing with people, let us remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic, we are dealing with creatures of emotions.” ~ Dale Carnegie
We tend to react more based on emotions than logic in life. What we forget is that emotions are always temporary.
“We can teach our minds to look beyond lack and attack. How? We can protect and feed our minds. We can be proactive about what we allow in.” ~ Darren Hardy
Whatever you feed your mind to, is what you will embody within.
“Your thought process, the conversation in your head, is at the base of the results you create in life. So the question is, What are you thinking about? What is influencing and directing your thoughts? The answer: whatever you’re allowing yourself to hear and see. The input you’re feeding your brain. Period.” ~ Darren Hardy
If you feed yourself any of the limiting beliefs that you believe, then in real life they are only excuses to avoid what is important in your life.
If all you have is excuses, then you get to keep them.
You don’t get free time and that’s life.
You make time to work for your dream and that’s the power of priority and choice.
We are what we believe and when you believe that you don’t have time, then that will be true for your reality. For your way of living life.
Having support feels great but you don’t need support when you believe in yourself and your dreams.
One who is determined, will not require support for their purpose.
You were born empty-handed, you didn’t come in with the ability to talk, you only had the ability to grow and learn.
It is not that you cannot achieve that big dream of yours, it is that you need Practice, Perseverance, and Priority.
Some of us do not dare to dream big because the dream is far from where we are in the present moment. We feel like the journey is far more than a thousand miles and we probably won’t make it. We lack something within.
The Truth.
You do not lack the Ableness to achieve what you Desire. What you lack is the Confidence in Self.
You only need to believe in your abilities that you are capable of achieving those big dreams that you desire.
Dare to Dream Big and Work towards that Dream.
Give yourself enough time. Prioritize your day in a way that you always give your time and attention towards the work for your dream.
You do not have to reach the top in a day or a month, so please be patient with yourself.
Future is all about uncertainties so whether you make it or not should not be your concern.
You should only focus on whether or not you gave your best to work towards those big dreams. At least that will be a life of no regrets.
The book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware shares true stories of what most people regret in the end. They regret not trying. They regret the risks they never took. Most of all they regret not choosing to work for their dreams. They regretted settling for a life that was not true to them.
Do not make a decision based on fear, choose wisely!
“we are what we chose to be.” — Graham Brown
Choose Courage, choose your dreams over the limitations made by thoughts.
Every time you have to make a decision to go after your dreams, you can ask your present self whether or if your 80-year-old self would regret it if you didn’t give your best shot towards that big dream?
If yes, go after what you want, if no, find what you want and then do it.
Life is finite, so you better make sure to use your finite life Right by you.
In the end,
“Do what feels right.” ~Oprah Winfrey
The takeaway, What can you do to be more Confident to achieve your big dreams?
Namaste!
