A child learns from her parents, teachers, and some of her behaviors come from her genes.When a child is born, her genes come from her parents. When a universe is born, it comes with some information from a preexisting entity.Logic may not be sufficient. But a chaotic event, such as a big bang, infinitely extends the initial conditions.Imagine if the consciousness — Her Consciousness — was just a small consciousness. Even smaller than yours or mine. A Tiny consciousness. But when the big bang occurred and that consciousness — somehow — became a part of its initial content, it expanded to feel like a big consciousness — a God-like Consciousness, a cosmic consciousness.What if She is as surprised as you and me? What if She is still trying to make sense of what happened like you and me? What if She doesn’t know but has been trying to know more about the point of Her origin or how She exploded in the big bang? What if She knows a lot but not everything? What if She has become a part of the Universal Consciousness against Her will? What if She had no control over the circumstances when Her Consciousness became Cosmic Consciousness? What is consciousness? Consciousness came first or the creatures who have it? Which came first: the chicken or the egg?

Carl Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He founded analytical psychology. He said,

Consciousness is a precondition of being.

Giulio Tononi is a famous neuroscientist and psychiatrist. He holds the David P. White Chair in Sleep Medicine, and a Distinguished Chair in Consciousness Science, at the University of Wisconsin.

He has written a book — it’s called PHI: A Voyage from the Brain to the Soul. He says,

Consciousness is everything we have, and everything we are. ~ Dr. Giulio Tononi

Modern philosophy from Descartes and Locke through Hegel and Schopenhauer emphasizes the importance of consciousness. Schopenhauer called it Descartes’ great truth,

“the only fact that is actually and unconditionally given is our self consciousness.”

Einstein wrote in a letter, in 1950,

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe,” a part limited in time and space.

The Story

God is not a logical being or a physical being. She is not a light being, or an energy being, or the master of all time.

She is nothing that we know for sure. She is not real — in the ordinary sense of the word. But she is not fake either. She is not for everyone. She doesn’t take care of everything.

If you remove everything from time and space, what’s left is Her.

She is pure consciousness.

You can talk to her, and she talks back in the language of signs, events, feelings in your heart, intuitions, dreams, and inspires you to live and enjoy.

What if I said She was not God? What if I said She was pure consciousness out of which everything started? The real big bang consisted of the creation of consciousness. What if I said She cares and doesn’t care, loves and doesn’t love, and understands and doesn’t understand — at the same time?
