Let’s Face It. Some People Will Judge You.
You can get judged for some of the most superficial and ridiculous reasons.

Your race. Your hair. The car that you drive. Your house.
People will always talk. No matter what.
Some will pretend to be your best friend, but when you really need them in a pinch, they will go missing in action.
Some will only call you when they need something, but they won’t reciprocate the favor when you need something.
They could be your friends, family, or colleagues.
It’s about setting boundaries with people that aren’t good for you.
It’s about recognizing that it’s okay to move on from people that don’t align with your life and values.
It’s okay to cut out certain people in your life.
It’s okay to live a life different from what some people can understand.
You don’t need to be sorry for those choices or for being true to yourself.
You don’t need to apologize for disturbing someone’s peace by simply being you.
You owe it to you.
It’s okay to be you.
I Won’t Apologize
Here, I recognize
You won’t apologize
I won’t apologize for being myself
I won’t apologize for the wealth
I am working so hard to build and grow
I won’t apologize for letting people go
I won’t apologize for not including you at my best
When at my worst, you turned your back like the rest
I won’t apologize or inhibit my truth
I won’t apologize for your shortcomings during my youth
I won’t apologize for my white and black races
I won’t apologize for my focused, quicker paces
Toward my future and my dream
It’s too bad, you could’ve been on my team
I won’t apologize for missing out on time
because you don’t deserve me at my prime
You’re on your journey, and I’m on mine
You will never apologize, and that’s just fine.
