Summary

The article encourages embracing uncertainty as a gateway to personal growth, mental independence, and a wealth of opportunities.

Abstract

The article "Let Your Mind out in a Sea of Opportunities Presented by Uncertainty" delves into the transformative power of uncertainty, suggesting that by relinquishing control and embracing the unknown, individuals can experience a more fulfilling and adventurous life. It references Deepak Chopra's philosophy on mental freedom and the importance of focusing on the journey rather than the destination. The text argues that attachment to outcomes leads to an "addiction of emotions" and insecurity, whereas mental independence fosters self-awareness, joy, and the ability to create one's desired reality. The author advocates for a mindset that views uncertainty as a catalyst for exploring infinite possibilities, rather than a source of fear. By letting go of rigid planning and expectations, one can tap into the universe's creativity and flexibility, leading to a more vibrant and exciting existence.

Let Your Mind out in a Sea of Opportunities Presented by Uncertainty

How would you like to experience taking a step through the door that uncertainty opens on our life path today?

Uncertainty can sound frightening to most people — including me at one time. Sometimes, when we look at our daily lives, we see that everything is under our control, and maybe we control everything with a single click.

Would you like to experience today how the things that we do not control and let go find their own place and order? Come on, you can start right now by taking a step into this magical world of uncertainty. You are the one who does the magic. What a marvelous world!

Perception of Uncertainty in Our Mind

After determining our desires and intentions in our minds, Deepak Chopra has written very well in his book that instead of focusing on the result, we should leave ourselves to the flow of life and pay attention to our journey itself. In the light of that, I will talk about the law of mental independence, which I think will be useful to you.

Putting uncertainty at the center made you worry at first, but as you experience letting yourself go with the flow, you will also enjoy life.

Because we always focus on the results when we create a list of desires and wishes, and this condemns us to result in addiction. I say addiction because it is as addictive as a cigarette or alcohol. I call it the addiction of emotions.

The more you let those feelings take over you, the stronger they will become attached to you.

When we let go of our dependence on results and divert our goal-focused mind, we have the opportunity to observe our desires from the outside, without judgment.

The ability to look at ourselves freely and without judgment equals the power of ourselves. And the more we know ourselves, the more we believe in the power of ourselves.

When we have doubts about ourselves, that is, when we do not know ourselves closely, we may experience feelings of fear and insecurity towards life. This is very natural because people are afraid of what they do

‘’Most things in our physical world; The source of abundance, plenty and wealth is the self, which has the power to do whatever it wishes, that is consciousness.’’

Dependency comes from the consciousness of lack because this addiction is actually; It is based on symbols such as house, car, clothes. Mental independence, on the other hand, expresses the same meaning with the awareness of wealth and abundance.

Our mental independence allows us to view ourselves from the outside with a free perspective. When we do this, the things that will enter our lives; joy, laughter, and happiness.

If we do not have the freedom to look at ourselves from the outside, only anxiety, despair, and hopelessness will come to us.

True wealth is when our mind takes a sip of the potion of independence and embraces freedom. Only then do we give our consciousness the power to create what we want, whenever we want. Those who want to walk safely on the path opened by uncertainty are those who are willing to take a sip from this potion. So, you still don’t think about trying it?

Ensuring the intentions we create in our minds

When we intend to do something, we calculate the probability of it happening and start looking for reassurance. But seeking reassurance is short-lived. Even our fondness for money proves that we are insecure.

In fact, most people with a lot of money feel insecure. For example, you could say, when I have $100,000, I will be safe and have the opportunity to do whatever I want.

But she/he worries almost every day that the money she/he has will disappear, and with her/his worries, the money she/he already has disappears and she/he remains insecure and without money. That is, associating wealth with security is short-lived and leads to self-deception.

We would be playing our own illusion game on ourselves.

In ancient wisdom traditions, as Deepak Chopra mentioned, the solution to this entire dilemma lies in the wisdom of insecurity or obscurity. This dependence on security, or the pursuit of certainty, comes from dependence on what we know and think is true.

Our addiction to things that make us feel comfortable and make us believe we will be safe may seem normal, but it is not.

What I know comes to me only from the past. Well, can we say that everything in the past was right and they were the right paths that should be followed?

Uncertainty is stepping into the unknown. The unknown is a cave with all the possibilities. Only those who can enter through the door of this cave, leaving their past behind, can swim in the sea of opportunities there.

It is possible for those who managed to enter the cave to spend every day of their lives taking a sip of a cocktail consisting of a mixture of excitement, celebration, vitality, joy, and delight. In fact, those who do not give up and constantly strive to stay in this cave all their lives throw themselves into the middle of an exciting adventure. These are the people who have opened themselves up to endless possibilities, rather than planning rigidly for a year or ten years ahead.

Just think about it, there is an infinite possibility of an event, but you aim for only one of them and try to make it happen.

Well, what would you say if I told you that by thinking this way, you would have prevented better events and feelings that could happen to you?

When you blindly adhere to results, you freeze your desires, interfere with all processes of creativity, and prevent the infinite fluidity and flexibility of the universe. Deepak Chopra

For example, you want to go from point A to point B. And between these points, there are endless opportunities. You have made a plan in your mind and you want to implement it. Uncertainty calls out to you, “If you choose me, I will reveal all possibilities”. Which would you choose?

In your head, with the experiences you have had in the past, maybe even thoughts that do not belong to you, or the whole universe of possibilities offered by uncertainty?

The answer to the question will solve all the hidden problems of your life. Actually, living life is that easy. It’s our ideas and thoughts that make it difficult.

How many of us want to open the door to endless possibilities today? I will ask those who raise their hands to say the following words to themselves every morning when they wake up. When you say it every day, you will witness how your life will catch the lost excitement and joy even in a month.

How to Apply the Mental Independence Act

In this section, I will share with you the excerpt from Deepak Chopra’s 7 Spiritual Laws of Success. If you want to change the way your mind thinks, you must make an effort. And this is a good place to start.

  1. Today I will devote myself to mentally detaching from events, situations, and circumstances. I will give myself and the people around me the freedom to exist as we are. I’m not going to impose my ideas on how things should be. I will not create new problems by trying to find consequences for problems. I will approach everything with mental independence.

2. The main material of my experience today will be uncertainty. Thanks to my willingness to accept uncertainty, problems in chaos, confusion, and disorder will resolve themselves. The more uncertain a situation seems, the safer I will feel because uncertainty is my path to freedom. Guided by the wisdom of uncertainty, I will find the confidence I seek in myself.

3. I will plunge into a sea of endless opportunities and be open to endless choices, eagerly awaiting what will emerge. I will experience all the fun, adventure, magic and mystery of life in a field of endless opportunity.

When we look at life from such a beautiful perspective, even the simplest thing we experience on a daily basis becomes more beautiful. For example, the friend you greet at the office or school brings you coffee and says let’s chat. But if you had taken your coffee and planned what to do beforehand, maybe this event would not have happened like this. Let’s stop planning everything and go in the direction life takes us.

How do you know, maybe you will live a much better life. I hope that the days you look forward to tomorrow will increase, stay loving yourself!
