Let Us Now Prey For America To Be Great Again

A picture is worth a thousand words has often been invoked to describe the power of images to encapsulate a number of ideas in a single frame. This is the case here. But can a picture be worth over 90,000 deaths from COVID-19 (as of this writing)?
Donald Trump has been consistent in his handling of this health crisis. His image takes precedence of people’s lives. His re-election is paramount in his mind as well as in the heads of the Republican Party. People will have to be sacrificed to get the economy rolling again. Too bad he wasted 70 days before he even contemplated taking action to stem the coronavirus outbreak.
President Trump, you have blood on your hands for the thousands of Americans who could have been saved. Stop preying on us. It won’t make America great again.

Often taking World War II-era propaganda, he remixes them with new text and imagery about the rancor so prevalent in American political discourse.
