Let Me Drown In Your Love

I will for once forget that I could swim

Photo by Gian Cescon on Unsplash

9 is when I reach the coffee shop, place the order, on my seat I hop.

There you come at 9:10 sharp, stroking your cat like strings of a harp.

You take the seat that looks outside, I choose a seat where you're lovably eyed.

You order the regular latte with extra cream Sorry, I was too busy marrying you in my dream.

You baby talk with ‘Cookie’ the cat; while I blush about our pregnancy fat.

It’s been three months now, please honey, look up through that brow.

Your better half is right in front of you, not a chance I’d suggest you screw.

Don’t be afraid to let me in your heart, My love will ensure we never ever depart.

P.S. I hate coffee. :)
